Hola all,
I have spent the last week in spainish school in a small surf resort on the Pacific Coast. I lived with a host family for the week with another german girl. As many of you know I am not a languages do not come naturally to me, but I have really enjoyed the week. Classes were small and our mi professioner Adrian was very encouraging. I just need to practise now! During the week I got the chance to try surfing again. After lots of help from the instructor I did manage to stand up a couple of times but before you are impressed this was in waves about 10 cm high with the instructer holding and letting the borad go for me! I also got to see leather back turtles nesting and went to local festival. Anyway bye for now! CCx

Greetings from Costa Rica
Hello all,
Arrrived in San Jose late on Thursday night after a long flight with not much in flight entertainment. BA rules over Iberia for long haul! I have spent two days in San Jose which is the capital of Costa Rica. To be honest I cannot say I have fallen in love with the place. I walked around the city for a couple of hours on Friday and felt I have seen most of sights and sounds. Saturday I spent the day on a 'bus tour' seeing Poas Volcano which is one of the most active volcanoes in Costa Rica. I also visited a coffee plantation and waterfall park. The sight of the volcano was incredible and smelly! Off to learn spainish this week which I have realised I defo need and now believe everyone who says that you need to speak spainsih to get by! Take Care CCx
